[00:14] Action: llogan wonders how to get drawtext to display frame numbers
[00:14] <saste> llogan, you can't right now
[00:15] <saste> adding the feature should be rather simple though

[00:16] <cone-848> ffmpeg.git 03Stefano Sabatini 073a0f3ffe8ece: ffmpeg: fix weird reindent
[00:18] <llogan> saste: i see. thanks.
[00:47] <cone-848> ffmpeg.git 03Carl Eugen Hoyos 072e08a82d5e77: Fix the path to the C99-to-C89 Converter & Wrapper to the only existing repository.

[01:42] <Compn> re: blip auto random swear word
[01:43] <Compn> Daemon404 : do you like youtube's engine ?
[01:43] <Compn> for speech recognition
[05:43] <cone-45> ffmpeg.git 03Michael Niedermayer 0791743fb7305a: frwu: do not set interlacing flags.
[05:43] <cone-45> ffmpeg.git 03Tim Nicholson 07dcbf72836c90: ffmpeg: add setting of field_order flag
[09:33] <wm4> why are the 9-16 bit planar yuv pixel formats not implemented as 16 bit formats with the least significant bits always set to 0? this would be much easier to handle in a lot of places, and would reduce the number of required pixel formats
[09:36] <wm4> also, why does libswscale not support planar RGB output? this is very impractical
[09:39] <av500> patches welcome I guess
[12:49] <saste> ubitux: you ok with -sections?
[13:15] <ubitux> saste: yes
[13:17] <cone-727> ffmpeg.git 03Stefano Sabatini 07eb87b340e8c8: lavfi/drawtext: add support for printing frame numbers

[14:20] <j-b> av500: do you something else than G+ those days?
[14:20] <av500> no, why?
[14:20] <j-b> just asking
[14:20] <av500> you know, 303
[14:21] <j-b> 303?
[14:22] <av500> xkcd/303
[14:22] <cone-727> ffmpeg.git 03Stefano Sabatini 07196765a7cc4d: ffprobe: implement subsection field selection through the -show_entries option

[19:18] <ubitux> channel re-ordering api, mmh nice :
[19:18] <ubitux> :)
[19:19] <ubitux> btw, i'm back to the new text subtitles api, i should be able to submit a first rfc in the following weeks
[19:26] <michaelni> great
[19:34] <cone-522> ffmpeg.git 03Michael Niedermayer 0708e26e7f5c0c: id3v2: print ver/flags/len on debug level.
[19:36] <ubitux> is there a av_dynarray_add()-like function which take instead an elem size (and returns a pointer to it in the tab)?
[19:43] <michaelni> ubitux, i dont think so
[19:43] <ubitux> ok, too bad
[20:18] <ubitux> durandal_1707: about swr, i'd better make swr use the channel reordering api
[20:18] <ubitux> if necessary
[20:18] <durandal_1707> but how would you make it fast?
[20:19] <ubitux> no idea :)
[20:30] <cone-522> ffmpeg.git 03Paul B Mahol 0732cd3a7c16e1: ADPCM AFC decoder

[22:03] <ubitux> meh, and saste left!
[22:29] <ubitux> hey i was wondering
[22:29] <ubitux> we should be able to concat mp4 with the hls demuxer, no?
[22:29] <ubitux> basically a user would just have to write a playlist :p
[22:34] <cone-522> ffmpeg.git 03Carl Eugen Hoyos 07dd6abc921af1: vqavideo: Reinitialise the actually used partial codebook bytestream-reader.
[23:21] <cone-522> ffmpeg.git 03Michael Niedermayer 07be89693ddc5a: avidec: try to support oddly muxed MMES stream
[23:39] <burek> I figured there is a little problem with outputting rawvideo to pipe, I get something like this
[23:39] <burek> [yuv4mpegpipe @ 0xe34b20] ERROR: yuv4mpeg can only handle yuv444p, yuv422p, yuv420p, yuv411p and gray8 pixel formats. And using 'strict -1' also yuv444p9, yuv422p9, yuv420p9, yuv444p10, yuv422p10, yuv420p10, yuv444p16, yuv422p16, yuv420p16 and gray16 pixel formats. Use -pix_fmt to select one.
[23:39] <burek> is -pix_fmt yuv444p enough to add to the cmd line
[23:39] <burek> to solve the issue properly?
[23:41] <durandal_1707> burek: what are you doing?
[23:43] <burek> im converting some fraps video
[23:43] <burek> to rawvideo to pipe it
[23:43] <burek> for concatenation
[23:43] <burek> (mmcat)
[23:43] <burek> http://pastebin.com/xTxxaKSv
[23:44] <durandal_1707> and input is in rgb?
[23:45] <burek> Stream #0:0: Video: fraps (FPS1 / 0x31535046), bgr24, 848x480, 30 tbr, 30 tbn, 30 tbc
[23:45] <durandal_1707> that is rgb
[23:46] <durandal_1707> you will get different colors if you use yuv444p because conversion happens
[23:46] <burek> what do you suggest I do
[23:46] <durandal_1707> depends what is your goal
[23:46] <burek> just to concatenate videos
[23:47] <burek> and output to h264
[23:47] <durandal_1707> there is raw video muxer
[23:49] <burek> fraps - rawvideo - libx264 (flv,mp4)
[23:49] <burek> that is the goal
[23:51] <durandal_1707> you could also store raw video into nut
[23:51] <burek> to preserve bgr24 ?
[23:51] <durandal_1707> well. doing single colorspace conversion is prefered
[23:52] <durandal_1707> you could use libx264rgb
[23:53] <durandal_1707> but others may not decode it
[23:53] <burek> but, if i'd like to produce x264 video that is "the most common"
[23:53] <burek> should I use 420p
[23:53] <durandal_1707> btw does x264 support 10bit rgb?
[23:53] <burek> or something
[23:54] <burek> im really not sure, im no x264 expert :/
