Yet, no matter what I define, even if I increase resolution, or decrease it, and set bitrate lower or (much) higher... the quality keeps ending up being totally raped. Tried to search google but there the command I used is pretty much mimic'ed. Anyone got any pointers? :)

[20:08] <sacarasc> If you have to use AVI, you could try H264 using the x264 encoder, but it won't be at its finest, otherwise maybe try the ASP encoder (mpeg4).
