[14:21] <dive> Hi, I can't seem to get -threads to work (enable-pthreads is in configure):
[14:21] <dive> ffmpeg -i "$INFILE" -threads 8 -b 1500k -vcodec libtheora -acodec libvorbis -ab \
[14:21] <dive> 160000 -g 30 "$OUTFILE"
[14:22] <dive> but my cpu still shows only one core being used
[14:41] <fazias> how about testing some other video codec to see if it has threads, quick google showed me that theora might not support more than one thread
[14:41] <dive> ah
[14:41] <dive> could be
[14:41] <dive> I'll give it a shot after this one
[14:43] <fahadash> Non-monotomous DTS in output stream 0:1; previous: 7, current: 6544; changing to 7617. This may result in incorrect timestamps in the output file.
[14:43] <fahadash> What does it mean ?
[14:43] <fahadash> I am trying to convert a wmv into mov using ffmpeg -i file.wmv file.mov
[14:46] <dive> fazias, you are correct - converting to mpeg uses more than a single core
[16:31] <zybil> hi
[21:14] <EvanDotPro> so, i have what is presumably a corrupt mp4 file (well, several) that has been "undeleted" by testdisk after an accidental delete... however i can't get anything to decode it, and i'm not sure if it's a complete loss or if there should be a simple way to "repair" these files.
[21:14] <EvanDotPro> here is what ffprobe is giving http://evan.pro/caps/84286a.png
