IIRC i personally didnt, but some ffmpeg developers are also x264 developers 
and some other x264 deveopers did submit patches, furthermore x264 used parts 
of ffmpeg, so yes theres common/similar code in x264 and ffmpeg, if you want 
to know the origin for a specfic line then grep, cvs annotate, svn ... should 
be helpfull
