Here it "almost" work:
$ cat /proc/cpuinfo
processor : 0
vendor_id : AuthenticAMD
cpu family : 6
model : 8
model name : AMD Sempron(tm) 2500+
stepping : 1
cpu MHz : 1751.917
cache size : 256 KB
$ mplayer -vo null -benchmark -frames 1000 -nosound bbc-africa_m720p.mov -demuxer 35
V: 37.0 1002/1002 1580% 0% 0.0% 0 0
BENCHMARKs: VC: 26.371s VO: 0.010s A: 0.000s Sys: 0.368s = 26.749s
BENCHMARK%: VC: 98.5878% VO: 0.0372% A: 0.0000% Sys: 1.3750% = 100.0000%
So, 1000 frames in 26.75 seconds is 37 fps, more than enough.
Using -vo xv, it plays at 95% speed in fullscreen.
Daniel.
