[Ffmpeg-devel] No Aspect Ratio for DV in AVI

I've been trying to encode some AVI files that contain DV data with the
16:9 aspect ratio set.  It's never set.  All videos have 4:3 aspect
ratio.  I've been looking in lavc/dv.c to see what's going on, and it
seems that the "metadata" segmnet of the video frame isn't filled in,
but it relies on the DV format mux to fill it in.  For formats such as
Quicktime or AVI, the DV mux isn't called, so this data isn't filled in.
Anyone have some work done on this?
