[Ffmpeg-devel] building output_example.exe on VC++

Hi,
I have been trying to compile the example output_example.h available int the 
ffmpeg root folder.
I have gone through all the steps indicated in the section 6.3.2 Visual C++ 
compatibility.
In VisualStudio "Additional Include Directories" i also had to add the 
c:\ffmpeg folder as otherwise the config.h file could not be found.
I also had to rename the files avcodec.dll.lib, avformat.dll.lib, 
avutil.dll.lib to avcodec.lib, avformat.lib, avutil.lib respectively as i was 
getting a file not found message.

Now when i try to build the example i get the following list of 25 errors:

If I add #include "config.h" at the top of the common.h the 25 errors disappear
but i then get another error, which i can't resolve:

The ffmpeg libraries have originally been built with mingw32 and the 
configuration settings used are:
./configure --enable-shared --disable-static --enable-memalign-hack 

Is there anything i have missed on the configuration?
