hi all,

I'm an happy user of ffmpeg via ffmpegx :-)

I'm using it a lot to convert dv materials to mpeg1 but I still need
to use 0.0.9L on my old G4
When I use the latest 0.0.9v I get green stripes/bars in the final
movies, especialy when played on windows media player
(which is the player used for displaying the final mpeg1 movies for
my projects until 2008)

0.0.9L is build Apr 30, 2004 of ffmpeg
0.0.9V is build Dec 1, 2005 of ffmepg

I've set up a test encoding and included my preset files on:
http://www.reloadmedia.com/demo/ffmpegx_encodingtest/

0.0.9L file:
http://www.reloadmedia.com/demo/ffmpegx_encodingtest/
enocding_test_0.0.9L.mpg.zip

0.0.9V file
http://www.reloadmedia.com/demo/ffmpegx_encodingtest/
enocding_test_0.0.9V.mpg.zip

original file
http://www.reloadmedia.com/demo/ffmpegx_encodingtest/
enocding_test.dv.zip

setings files
http://www.reloadmedia.com/demo/ffmpegx_encodingtest/MPEG1_0.0.9L.ffx
http://www.reloadmedia.com/demo/ffmpegx_encodingtest/
MPEG1_0.0.9V.ffx (is somewhat different cause version V wouldn't
eat the preset of L)

my question,
How can I get rid of these green bars (next to the text in the demo
movie played with windows mediaplayer)
Is it an encoding error or is it a settings mistake by me? I can't
solve this problem myself.
some help is appreciated :-)

regards, Joris
