[Ffmpeg-devel] issue with using the loop filter/h263P

Hi,

So this isn't a bug report, but...

Has anyone else noticed that the CODEC_FLAG_LOOP_FILTER option
in H263 can introduce blocking artifacts into Inter (p) frames in areas of
low movement over a long period where no Intra frames occur (say > 90
frames).

I have seen this in several cases- is this a bug or just an artifact of how
the loop filter operates?
