Some more information. It looks like ffmpeg has problems with the resolution of the mpeg4 video when transcoding it. The original is 720x380. If I scale it to 720x384 then everything works perfectly. I think ffmpeg may have a problem with resolutions that are not multiples of 16 pixels. -Aaron
