[Ffmpeg-devel] codec with timestamps for real-time capture ?

Hello all,

I need to capture and replay short video sequences with a fast lossless codec
(raw video would be good also), but I need to store absolute time stamps,
e.g. UTC time stamps up to the millisecond, with the video stream, to be
able to synchronize sequences from different sources when replaying.

Is there a recommended codec and video file format for such things ?
