[FFmpeg-devel] Rate Control Algorithm in FFmpeg

Dear All,                          
Could somebody tell me, about the rate control algorithm used for video. I mean that
I want to know weather it is some standard rate control (eg. SRC
recommended by MPEG-4). Can some one just pass me the link/references for
imlemented algorithm.
I have read mpegvideo.c and ratecontrol.c. I think it is not easy to follow these codes.
So are there any offical docs for the rc algorithm, such as tm5, tmn8, Q2?
