PF = protocol family
AF = address family
It has a little semantic difference, and though most actually have a
1:1 mapping, some obscure protocols do share the address family of
others...
I recall seeing some BSD headers doing so.
that'd mean socket(,,PF_FOO); and sa->sa_family = AF_FOO;
