Trust me, this patch _was_ definitely needed!
(And yes I will send you a sample tonight, any stream without
 SDT will do I guess)
Do you have access to Linux-DVB equipment?

I haven't had time to verify it is _still_ needed with all the recent
changes.

Also, there may now be a workaround by manually specifying "-f
mpegtsraw", is that what you're aiming for?  I could live with that
although I think automatic switching is more user friendly.
And the "raw" qualifier is apparently considered ambiguous/ugly
(hi M?ns).
