[FFmpeg-devel] [PATCH] Proposed fix for GCC 2 compatibility on PPC/Altivec

Hello,
Attached patch, based on a modified patch sent by Sigbj?rn Skj?ret,
works around a GCC2 bug that prevents alignment attribute from working
when a function is inlined.

Don't ask me why; what's more I just can't test this patch as I don't
have access to any PPC machine that has GCC2 in it.

So if anyone can test, please do, if you can't, you can comment on the
patch to tell if it's worth the trouble.

I personally don't care much for GCC2 support on either x86 or PPC, so
I won't take it personally if you don't like this patch.
