OK,
Now on a different subject:
Has ANYONE gotten ffmpeg/ffserver to handle a live
stream with sound?
If so how?
I have gotten an FLV stream to work pretty solidly but
not yet with sound.
This is the next topic I would like to document.
Streaming live video (hopefully with sound), using
ffmpeg/ffserver.
Any method is acceptable, provided I can duplicate it
and it works.
"Live" in this context can mean from a file, but I am
more interested in streams from a camera attached to a
video4linux device, in real-time, or near-real-time.
"Live" from a file means that the file is streamed to
ffserver by ffmpeg, and the stream is viewed through a
connection to ffserver by a browser, or mplayer, or
some other media player, as opposed to just getting a
file directly from some web directory.
I suppose this may be a question for ffmpeg-user, but
I have already downloaded the list archive, and will
be searching it for any command line examples people
have submitted as well as any other relevant info.
Thanks.
Piero.
