10l to me, the patch was incomplete.

I addressed the small problems pointed out in the thread.
put_mpeg4_qpel16_v_lowpass_altivec is still not converted to Altivec yet though.

If no one writes it, I'll try to do it. It doesn't look too
complicated at first glance.
