And I find that unworkable so I've started NOT doing that anymore for
xine-lib-1.2 series and integrated FFmpeg's own build system into an
autoconf/automake shell.
It's far from difficult to handle, the most difficult thing was to have
make dist working, and I've fixed that just by having a listing of the
files in the svn export.
Matt Messier was also able to get Mac OS X Universal Binary builds
working without having to touch a single file in FFmpeg.
