hmm, it sounds a little like you are talking about libavcodec/dct-test.c
while iam talking about tests/dsptest.c whos existence i honestly
wasnt aware of until today :)

if you think its usefull then ive no objections to moving it there or
leaving it where it is as long as we dont start hacking lavc because
dsptest.c does #include *.c more or less instead of properly linking
to the libs
