Firstly, the way the GPL works this question is not decided by the GPL
but by the lawmakers and judges, they are the only ones deciding on
that.
Secondly, discussing licenses and convincing authors to use a different
one is one thing, btu I am not at all fine with attacking authors for
their choice of license or their reasons, and due to lack of useful
content this mail very much sounds a bit much like an attack to me.
