Hi,
The FATE Server is paying dividends. It seems that the latest SVN builds
of gcc can not build FFmpeg.
http://fate.multimedia.cx/index.php?stderr=2322
The error is:
/tmp/fate/source/libavcodec/mpegvideo_enc.c: In function 'encode_thread':
/tmp/fate/source/libavcodec/mpegvideo_enc.c:2623: error: unrecognizable
insn:
(insn 4698 7109 4699 433
/tmp/fate/source/libavcodec/mpegvideo_enc.c:1454 (parallel [
(set (reg:V4SI 290 [ vect_cst_.8614 ])
(reg:V4SI 3508))
(unspec [
(const_int 0 [0x0])
] 196)
]) -1 (nil))
/tmp/fate/source/libavcodec/mpegvideo_enc.c:2623: internal compiler
error: in instantiate_virtual_regs_in_insn, at function.c:1564
Please submit a full bug report,
with preprocessed source if appropriate.
See for instructions.
make[1]: *** [mpegvideo_enc.o] Error 1
This is on PowerPC with both SVN 131978 and 131996. Unfortunately, I had
not updated in a few weeks so I didn't catch exactly where the break
crept in. I have not had time to build current SVN for other platforms.
Where's the best place to report these problems? I should probably
bookmark it. :)
