Very unlikely. It's not like I forced anyone to flame me. Most of the
flaming has been done by people who do very little work on MPlayer in
any case. I doubt any other current developer would have done some of
the fixes in any situation.

The "unreviewable" argument is bogus, but it was discussed at the time
already and I don't want to go through it again.

They didn't have to do anything. Rathann did create a version more to
your tastes, but as far as I know *no one ever had any practical use for
it*. Certainly nothing worth the effort to create it.
