On that note, if those working on these patches in the future want
help on what x264 defaults to use (or if you want to add presets), I'd
be happy to help.  A good question would be whether ffmpeg should
abide by x264's defaults like mencoder does even though Loren himself
has decried them as suboptimal, or whether it should come up with its
own.  Or whether I should get off my butt, break the current x264 API,
and fix the defaults once and for all ;)
