[FFmpeg-devel] Six-, eight-core-CPU

Hi Guys,


with news out like "xyz announces 6-core-cpu", "8-core
later this year" do you think ffmpeg should do
something about that?

As I see it, some codecs like x.264 scale very well
with CPU count, but ffmpeg, especially decoding,
doesn't.

Is that a priority?
