[FFmpeg-devel] Extracting I-frames from MPEG TS

Hi,

(I know this rather belongs to the ffmpeg-user list, but nobody answered 
there... so I assume the answer is rather to do it at the library level)

Is there a simple way (with ffmpeg command-line options) to extract only
   I-frames from an MPEG TS file (or udp stream) ?

Ancillary question: is there a registered MIME type and/or extension for
   a file format containing one single MPEG I-frame ? I'm asking this
because I have an embedded browser claiming support of such "MPEG still
images" in the <img> tag, but I don't know how to serve them on the web
site.
