clearly says the code (or, at least, Steve's contribution to it) is in the
public domain. Could you ask Steve Underwood if Chas Williams illegally
relicensed Steve's code (or if Steve has just changed his opinion).
The additional question would be: Under which license did Chengxiang Lu and Alex
Hauptmann from CMU (?) write their (original) contribution/codec?
