[FFmpeg-devel] wmv3 question

Hello everyone. I was wondering you guys know if the wmv3  patch from Dennis Fortin works? I have been following this thread from 2007,

but it ends with no clear conclusion(at least to me)

I don?t supose the wmv3 patch has been included in the last versions of ffmpeg or there is any intention to do it in the near future?

If not , could you please tell me if its still possible to apply this patch to msmpeg4.c and
will it work?
