[FFmpeg-devel] [Slight OT] VideoLAN Dev Days

I am deeply sorry to be a bit off-topic on this mailing-list, therefore
I'll keep it short.


We (the VideoLAN non-profit organisation/foundation) are organizing, in
Paris, between the 18th and 20th of December, a small event for
developers around the VideoLAN community.

The event will be focused on coding and technical discussions around
VLC, DVBlast and other VideoLAN projects. While there will be some
presentations and pre-organized discussions, most of the time will be
open discussions and coding with no prepared schedule.


A few developers from FFmpeg will be there and we would love to invite
other FFmpeg devs that want to join.
If you are in Europe and travelling is reasonable, we can pay for
travel+hotel+food (money comes from website donations, mainly).

We can, of course, provide some rooms for private FFmpeg discussions, if
enough of you are interested.

If you are open to such an event and do come for actual discussions, please
mail me in private so we can see what is doable.


If you are already in Paris and you cannot be there during the whole
event, you should come for a special event on friday night. (mail me for
details)
