yes that would be nice. In the current context, the patch has been
tested against wmp10 (or 11 i forget the exact version). I can do some
more testing for other pixfmts whenever i'm near a windows box.

well yeah, regression tests do pass, and also tested against
ffplay/wmp. okay to apply?
