It still accepts the pixel format in numeric format (and indeed
doesn't require changes to ffmpeg.c).
I know that such a source is mainly supposed to be used
programmatically, though may be useful to make it accept a pixel
format string for testing purposes, for example to test a filterchain
configuration using the graph2dot tool.
