[FFmpeg-devel] file protocol with Unicode support

So, any idea how to make patch better?

If problems with backward compatibility (for filenames with not ASCII
symbols) should be avoid and dedicated file protocol is not allowed...
Maybe special configuration flag do that job (and developers worried about
Unicode support can do that explicitly)?
