I think the explicit list is easier for people new to FFmpeg to 
understand. And if they're reading this documentation file, they are 
highly likely to be new to FFmpeg.

If you are concerned that the list of names is not fully complete, how 
about "you can build the libraries (e.g. libavutil, libavcodec, 
libavformat) as DLLs."
