[FFmpeg-devel] Recompiling ffmpeg with custom filter

Hi all,
I am writing a  new filter for hue,brightness,contrast,Grayscale.
I am following the below approach to add my filter to ffmpeg.
Update libavfilters/Makefile with the following: OBJS-$(CONFIG_FADE_FILTER) += vf_fade.o
And finally update libavfilters/allfilters.c with the following: REGISTER_FILTER (FADE, fade, vf);
Afterwards you should be able to apply fades, such as the following: ffmpeg -i input.avi -vf "fade=in:0:30" output.avi
Question: Can we add a custom filter with out recompiling entire ffmpeg source.For testing it is getting touch to recompile entire code.
Please help me in this aspect.
