As http://ffmpeg.org/developer.html#Development-Policy explains, 
the (L)GPL is not the only acceptable license, but I would 
expect the DTS-HD MA decoder to reuse large parts of FFmpeg 
which means it may not be easy to use it under a less restrictive 
license than the LGPL.
