AFAIK the original DVCProHD implementation was written for inclusion in the
BBC's Ingex project and was applied as a patch to ffmpeg. I certainly have a
patched 0.5 containing support for it obtained from the Ingex sourceforge site.

It should therefore be possible to source an LGPL version of the code.
