Yes, since the code for it is trivial I do think it would be nice
to support it stand-alone, like MPlayer does.
Same goes for CSS for DVDs as well.
One of the reasons is that I think libaacs provides for example no
stand-alone tool to just decrypt given the key (though I might be wrong
here).
