[FFmpeg-devel] The quantization parameter QP in FFmpeg-Libavformat-VLC

Hello,
I discovered that VLC decode most of the codecs using libavformat .
I would like to evaluate the quantization parameter QP priodically. For example:
I start reading video "toto.flv" using VLC, and at the same time, we'll show on the console  the value of quantization  paramaitre QP.

I intend modify the source code of this library (libavformat) to view the quantization  parameter. I did a keyword search "qp" in the source code of Libavformat. I found the word  qp in two  place: in the file, "mmf.c" and "electronicarts.c", but this word is used in comments!!!

Please, do you have any ideas on how I could extract this parameter (quantization parameter)  in FFmpeg?


Frankly, it's starting to stress me as it's been a while since I'm on it.
