I agree that convergence_duration makes no sense, even stretching the doc a
lot. But it has been like that for a long time, removing it now would break
programs that rely on it. And since it was the only way to get that
information (unlike ASS, where the end timestamp is resynthetized in the
packet data), we can not blame these programs.
So I think we are stuck with setting convergence_duration for TEXT, at least
for the time being. I can add a comment about that if people want it.
