ok i looked more at murmur3 (x86 32bit 128bit hash)
there are 2 things on it that dont look sane

First, before the finalization step it has 128bits of state
the finalization then (excluding the first line) does nothing to
improve collisions, any colission that existed before, exists
afterwards. Aka the code is useless and just might make the hash
look more random to human eyes. But at the same time it makes
interrupting and continuing the checksum calculation annoying

The second thing is, a similar permutation exists on the input,
again for any collision that exists with this part of murmur3:
k1 *= c1; k1  = ROTL32(k1,15); k1 *= c2;
k2 *= c2; k2  = ROTL32(k2,16); k2 *= c3;
k3 *= c3; k3  = ROTL32(k3,17); k3 *= c4;
k4 *= c4; k4  = ROTL32(k4,18); k4 *= c1;

you also have a collision without these 4 lines (with the input
bytestream changed accordingly)

so while i dont dispute murmur3 works well, its design looks a bit
fishy to me
