actually i read it that derek is noting both of these in some kind of
report card or 'list of ffmpeg development policies' of which to troll
with later.

unfortunately, holding a grudge about every dumb thread on the list is
a silly use of limited resources.

i hope both derek and carl have learned some lessons from this thread.

what i learned: just look it up in xmbc first, no reason to ask other
developer a question. they arent going to help anyway.
