Could you name one framework or package that does 
not work with FFmpeg (or does not have less bugs 
with FFmpeg than with avconv libraries)?

I have never tested GStreamer myself but several 
users reported that it compiles with FFmpeg and 
that using FFmpeg fixed their issues.
