haha. yes, ffmpeg does not need youtube support because mpv already has
it. classic.

yes i thought it was in poor taste but thats free speech for you.
i do not speak for the community nor project but i thought we had a
free speech zone here. we allow everyones opinion and patches and do
not ban developers from the list.

which is why i said to the author to not be discouraged or offended,
i was trying to save people from getting scared off.

the thing is there is nothing to handle. as far as i can tell we do not
moderate nor ban others opinions here on this mailing list or project.

i am sorry if that bothers you. i hope you will stay. some developers
here are nice, some arent so nice. we have to deal with them all , if
you find that it is no longer fun to work with other developers, then
say so. maybe the other developers will change their behavior?

we had a dev who said a developer had contacted them privately with
nasty rumors and such. we asked that devel why they didnt bring it to
the list to be discussed in public. they felt like it wasnt their place
to make it a big deal, but it was a reason that they stayed away from
this project. 

its hard for people to change if they dont know that they are causing
other people to leave. if they dont know that thier behavior is toxic.
