Ah, that's the part about SRT ("formally" vs. text vs. ASS or whatever
perhaps) which I didn't understand.

That makes perfect sense to me, considering their relationship. (I
don't decide when it's time to break code out, and, yes, I have read
the qtpalette() discussion. ;-))
P.S. Patch so far untested by me, but also presumed to be quite
practical. Just saying.
