I would probably add aliases, such as

{ "clipping", "enable clipping", OFFSET(clip), AV_OPT_TYPE_BOOL, {.i64=1}, 0, 1, A },
{ "c", "enable clipping", OFFSET(clip), AV_OPT_TYPE_BOOL, {.i64=1}, 0, 1, A },
(same in docs) but that's quite cosmetic.
