I suggested this because the documentation can always use more improvements, we need more active documentation maintainers, and he has previously shown interest in this. (I am referring to the cli tool docs.) Gyan has shown to be quite proficient with the cli tools, knows how to help users, and is becoming more familiar with the code. I believe he has sent enough patches to understand our workflow.
