That would be a question to the package maintainer, not me. He's
maintaining packages for all supported nVidia driver series, not just
the latest, as far as I remember.

As for updating FFmpeg, I consider it something akin to "libc" for all
things multimedia, so any update should be considered very carefully.

Not necessarily, but new features may come with new bugs, too.

Anyway, as James explained already, 4.1 is ABI and API compatible, so
I'll consider the update. Thanks.
