seems to break/change  -loop

ffmpeg -f image2 -loop 1 -framerate 2 -i tickets/3329/arrow_%1d.png -frames 1000 -vf fps=fps=25 -omit_video_pes_length 0 file-3329.ts

the output filesize changes by more than 10x

Asymptotically faster algorithms should always be preferred if you have
asymptotical amounts of data
