While I agree that decoders (among other things) need tests this seems like an unfortunate outcome from an end user perspective. There are QOA samples at https://qoaformat.org/samples/ and presumably someone else could add some tests for it if the author can't be bothered. Can we hold off on this for a couple of days? If nobody else can add a test I can try to do so but I'll need a couple of days to figure it out.
