I really think you should reconsider this position. It would be extremely
valuable if you could attend, even just for one day or part of a day.

We are not scary or creepy and will not do bad things to you (or anyone).
Please join us. You can skip dinner/drinks if that's not your thing. But
please attend the technical discussion.
