Maybe the best way to think about these is like a "show of hands",
something akin to "what's the opinion of the people in this room regarding
this subject". The opinions of the participants may alarm you, but there is
(currently) no action associated with these opinions.

As Remi said, no GA votes were held during (or at - is that even possible?)
VDD2024.
